Wiscassett, Waterville & Farmington Railway "Maine Two-Foot Winter" Photo Event, 1-14-17.

On January 14th and 15th, 2017 the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway hosted a special event geared for photographers. The event was known as "Maine Two-Foot Winter," This is in reference to the 2 foot narrow gauge of the railroad tracks. The original WW&F was one of five two-foot narrow gauge railroads in Maine. On hand for this event was WW&F #9 and former Monson Railroad #3 which was on loan from the Maine Railroad Company & Museum in Portland. Over the two days multiple photo stops and run-bys were staged to recreate actual historic and historical fiction scenes.
