Conway Scenic Railroad Railfan's Weekend 2018

On September 1st and 2nd, 2018 Conway Scenic Railroad held their annual "Railfan's Weekend." The event included regular trains on both days along with a photo freight train on Saturday and a Notch Extra to Whitefield on Sunday. Normally, even during foliage season trains are only fun to Fabyan. Passenger trips past Fabyan are reserved for special events. On this trip, the train was run all the way to the ball signal where the Boston & Maine and Maine Central tracks once crossed. This is the lase operational ball signal in the United States. Additionally, a night photo session was hosted on Saturday night. Flash lighting was provided by John Tully and Fred Jones.
