  • Pan Am ran an extra train from Boston to Brunswick using a CSX F40 and a lone coach. The Dash 8 was on the point due to PTC requirements. The train was carrying CSX executives and is seen at Powder Mill Road in Exeter, NH, 5-18-22.
  • Amtrak Downeaster 681 is seen heading through Exeter, NH on its trip from Boston, MA to Brunswick, ME with one of the 50th-anniversary heritage units on point, 5-18-22.

  • Although I had intended on shooting the signature shot at Willey Brook Bridge as the forecast called for clouds, I was met with abundant sunshine on my arrival to the White Mountains. After shooting the 1 pm Hobop Railroad train on the way up, I decided to still hike into Willey and see if the weather changed. Since the bridge was fully shadowed, I figured that I would try something different this year. The train is rounding Hangman's Curve, just West of Willey Brook Bridge amid peak foliage, 10-13-21.
