Chelsea, MA - 2nd Alarm, 255 Spruce Street, 12-24-10

A tragic Christmas Eve fire claimed the life of one person and left another person critically injured. Shortly before 11pm Chelsea Fire Alarm began receiving calls for a fire on Spruce Street. Companies under the command of Acting Deputy Chief Gurska made an aggressive interior attack and quickly knocked down the heavy fire. Mutual aide from Revere, Everett, Winthrop, and Boston responded to the scene.
