Winthrop, MA - Water Incident, Winthrop Beach, 9-28-09

Winthrop Fire, Police, and Harbormaster responded to a report of a man in the water off Winthrop Beach. Winthrop Fire launched their rescue boat along with the harbormaster boat that responded from the town pier. The victim was recovered in the cold water in cardiac arrest. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
