Winthrop, MA - MVA, Pleasant Street and Brookfield Road, 1-17-09

Winthrop fire and police units responded to the intersection of Pleasant Street and Brookfield Road for a car that fell into a sink hole. The town had been dealing with a loss of water pressure all day, but the break could not be located. When the vehicle drove over the site of the break, the road gave way. The driver was not injured.
