Marblehead, MA - 3rd Alarm, 9 Auburndale Road, 9-28-09

A large house on Auburndale Road was heavily damaged in this evening fire. Marblehead Fire C-1 was first to arrive on scene and ordered the second and third alarms quickly. Companies were forced to switch to defensive operations due to the heavy fire conditions before advancing back into the house to knock down the remaining fire.
