Winthrop, MA - Working Fire, 952 Shirley Street, 12-19-08

Winthrop Fire Department with mutual aide from Massport fought this working house fire on 12-19-08. The initial call came in just before 8:30 PM. A large snowstorm was occurring in the area, and the wind and snow made conditions very difficult. The fire was quickly knocked down and contained to the building of origin. The fire was caused by a faulty heater.
