Revere, MA - 2nd Alarm, 17 Hasey Street, 12-11-05

December 11th was a busy day for Revere firefighters. Shortly before 7:00 Engines 1,5,3, Ladder 1 and the Deputy were dispatched to a report of a fire at 516 Beach Street. The fire was in a 2/12 house, and eventually went to 2 alarms. The cold weather caused ice to form on surfaces, making things very difficult for firefighters. The fire was placed under control at about 9:30. At 12:30 a box was struck for excessive smoke from the chimney at 17 Hasey Street. Engine 3 was first to arrive, and reported smoke showing. Working Fire, and 2nd alarm assignments were called to help bring the fire under control. Covering companies also answered multiple other emergency calls during the fires.
