Malden, MA - 4th Alarm, 62 Lincoln Street, 7-8-03
Malden Fire Dispatch received a report of a fire at 62 Lincoln Street around 3:12 PM. The fire was in a multi family triple decker, wood frame building. A second alarm was struck on arrival by Captain Sullivan of Engine 3. The fire started in a dumpster on the outside of the building. After struggling with the stubborn fire, all of the firefighters were ordered out,and companies went into defensive mode. Two firefighters were taken to area hospitals for smoke inhilation, and heat exaustion. Companies remained on scene throughout the night, and a fire watch detail was still in place two days later.
